Melbourne artist Dawn Tan is a self-confessed foodie with a penchant for all things yummy. Her work embraces her inspiration with home-cooking, packaging and grocery shopping. Colourful recipes, giant wearable sculptures, foodie tea towels, ice cream pillowcases, burger plates and chippy cups, these are just some of the many delicious objects Dawn whips up!

Apart from working on fun drawing projects, Dawn also has a passion for teaching. She currently works as an art teacher in a prestigious school and occasionally runs her own adult classes and freelance school workshops. Click here to view some of the classes she runs. In her spare time, Dawn authors a blog called Handmadelove, where she journals all her fun art and teaching adventures.

Dawn and her work have been featured in various press and publications including The Age Newspaper, Frankie Magazine, Inside Out Magazine, Uppercase Magazine, The Design Files, Michi Girl, and The Thousands. She also enjoys working with others and have to date, collaborated up with some of Australia's most talented designers and creatives, such as Harvest Textiles, Douglas & Hope, Shelley Panton, Frankie & Swiss, The Design Files and so on.
