A vegetable that means to me, family and a mother’s love.

I grew up eating this lots, especially at my aunt’s house. She would make the most delicious soup with this humble vegetable. Along with soy beans. Plain, simple and yet so nourishing. Napa Cabbage will always be a memory of growing up, with fun weekends at my aunt’s house, along with all my cousins. Napa cabbage in the form of my aunt’s soup, has to me always felt like a big warm hug. Hopefully this piece will feel like a hug for you too!
