Have you been to the NGV to check out the amazing Yayoi Kusama exhibition? I’m heading there in a few weeks’ time and I can’t wait! I’ve loved the work of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama for years. Her work is truly fun and I dream of seeing her pumpkin sculpture in Japan one day! Until then, I shall share my love of Yayoi Kusama’s art by creating fun art activities with my yurt champs. I actually did this activity with my regular term class students and they absolutely LOVED IT and didn’t want class to end. So I thought it would be fun to run it again as a school holiday workshop! In this workshop, students will get to create a fun diorama - A Yayoi Kusama exhibition!

We’ll work with drawing supplies, paints and air dry clay to create a fun little dory spotty world. And for those who love stickers, we’ll get to use LOTS of stickers too! Super fun and super hands on, perfect for little crafters out there! : )

For Ages Prep to Year 6

Location: Yarraville ( Off Gamon Street )

All art materials, including comfortable art smocks will be provided for the children.

Maximum of 8 children per class.

**If your child is ill/down with covid/flu, please do not turn up. Booking refunds/exchanges or swap of days for workshops are not available. If your child can’t attend the class, do let us know and you are more than welcome to send another child in their place. If you are unable to fill the spot, your class fee can be credited towards a future art workshop.
